Starting Point - May Be the Perfect Place for you…

It is sometimes difficult to find our place in God’s story and connect to God’s people. Starting Point begins January 15, and is designed to help you find your place in God’s story and among God’s people.

Starting Point is:

· A conversational group environment where you can explore faith and
experience community.
· A series of ten conversations in a comfortable, living room environment.
· A place where you can ask your questions, sometimes difficult or challenging
questions, regarding God and the Christian faith.
· Designed for three categories of people
SEEKERS: Those who are seeking to know more of the faith
STARTERS: Those who have just begun following Christ.
RETURNERS: Those who have been away from the Church,
but are returning.

Each session works from a Bible passage as the foundation for conversation; recognizing that every major Christian truth has a corresponding tension point, a stirring of doubt, which generates questions to be considered.

Each group will be approximately 15 people and guided by 2-3 fellow travelers who are further down the road of faith. Each participant will have a conversation guide book with the ten sessions clearly outlined and 10 teaching messages on 5 audio CDs.

Orientation Sessions will be 15-20 minutes in the Gym, following each worship service beginning Sunday, November 27 through December 18. Come to learn more and sign up to be in one of our Starting Point groups. Curious? Questions? Come check it out.
