Student Ministries (6th-8th Grades)

In Elevate, we seek to elevate our worship by putting God in His proper place with authentic, passionate praise, to elevate our relationships by building them on biblical truths, and to elevate our faith by making it our own through the teaching and understanding of God’s Word so that we are ready to go out and serve His Church for the rest of our lives.

Sunday Mornings at 10:30AM, September through mid-June

We meet in Room 103 for some hanging out and biblical teaching.

Tuesday Nights at 6:30PM, September though mid-June

Tuesday nights are always a blast and a great time to have fun with your friends and hang with cool leaders! We meet in the gym and start with upbeat, rockin’ worship with a great band followed by biblical teaching, time in our small groups where we can grow with our friends and leaders, and then back to the gym for some awesome games!

Big Events

We have three big events throughout the school year. These fun events are an easy way to meet new people, break down walls, and begin building a community of believers who genuinely care about one another. We start the year off with Tacky Tourist. On this night we come dressed up in our tackiest attire and go around town taking pictures competing against other teams for points. In February it's Banana Night! At this event, we turn off the lights in the church and compete to get points by finding little paper bananas scattered around everywhere. Our last big event is at the end of the year when we Rock around the Clock. This event starts on a Friday night and we stay up all night eating junk food, playing games, and going bowling!

Summer

Fun in the Son happens most Wednesdays in the summer. Whether we are tubing on the Columbia River or heading over the mountains to a Mariner’s game, Fun in the Son is an opportunity to stay connected.

Retreats

We offer two retreats throughout the school year. In November, we head over to the west side of the mountains to Warm Beach Camp where we meet with other youth groups from around the state for games, great worship, and amazing speakers! In March, we’re off to Ghormley Meadows Christian Camp on White Pass and have a retreat in the snow. Getting away on these retreats allows us to spend focused time with God, our leaders, and our friends. You will not want to miss them!
