Equipping Classes

Equipping classes have two purposes: learning and applying Biblical principles, and becoming connected in a community to facilitate life transformation.

A typical gathering will consist of:

· Fellowship and announcements (coffee and light refreshments served)

· The teaching lesson

· Huddles for sharing, praying, and application to real life

Comparing Christianity and Other Religions and Cults

Join Pastor Floyd as they examine the historic essentials of our Christian faith in order to evaluate and respond to other world religions and cults, such as Islam and Mormonism.

Bondage Breaker – A Study of Living Free in Christ

8:45AM in the ROOM 501/502 with Elaine Aken
Dr. Neil Anderson stated, the power for Christian living is found in the truth. Christians are to pursue the truth because they already have the power and authority to do His will. This class beginning in January will be a study of truth with regard to living the Christian life in the freedom that Christ provided for us. Practical steps will be given to resolve personal and spiritual conflicts through genuine repentance and faith in God.

Spiritual Formation: Intimacy With God

10:30AM IN ROOM 501/502 with Pastor Mike Henry
In this class Pastor Mike will teach you to deepen your relationship with God. The class will cover: Prayer Basics, Bible Basics, Hearing from God, Answers to Prayer, The Disciplines at Work, Fasting for Spiritual Breakthrough, Solitude and Quiet, Praying the Scriptures, Faith for Greater Things, and Intercession.

This class will cover various topics to equip us as parents of children and youth of all ages to lead in their faith formation.  We will begin with the basics of accepting Christ and baptism, and build on those foundations to tackle topics such as sibling ribalry and becoming a family that serves together.   Join us as we seek to become more intentional in the role of shepherding our children.
