Bible Communities & Disciple U

BC's and DU's have two purposes: learning and applying Biblical principles, and becoming connected in a community to facilitate life transformation.

A typical gathering will consist of:

· Fellowship and announcements (coffee and light refreshments served)

· The teaching lesson

· Huddles for sharing, praying, and application to real life

The next session will begin Sun, March 14. Listed below are the BC's and Disciple U classes th will be available.

8:45AM:

Prayer Meeting

A new Prayer Meeting feature is being added to the Sunday morning agenda. Beginning Sunday morning, March 14, at 8:45 in Room 501-502. Pastor Mike will lead the Prayer Meeting not as a teaching class, but a time to intercede for the church, families, missionaries, our nation and community. We will also pray for specific needs of healing.

Bible Community:

Seasoned Saints: in the Fireside Room

Pastor Floyd Schwanz will be teaching on the "Holy Spirit in Your Life."

Disciple U Class:

Life Foundations: in Room 103

Learn in a fresh way the principles of living out your faith in worship and prayer and understanding the Bible. Gerry Jessup is the facilitator.

10:30AM:

Bible Communities:

Covenant: in the Chapel

Pastor Les Krober will be teaching on Wisdom from the book of Ecclesiastes. “How much better to get wisdom than gold…”

Households of Faith: in the Fireside Room

Kaye Kolde will teach on Bible Covenants. This is essential to understanding the depth of your commitment to Christ.

Disciple U Classes:

Marriage Map in the Gym

Session II on our “Marriage Journey” begins Sunday morning, March 14.
This 12 week class will be presented in the Gym, at 10:30AM.

This class is free, open to the public, and everyone is welcome! This is a good opportunity to bring your friends and neighbors to a wonderful marriage class, which includes great teaching, delicious refreshments, and fun fellowship. This Disciple U class is taught by Dr. Mitch Whitman, who holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and has had a clinical practice for over 20 years. We will use the Marriage Map to continue on our Marriage Journey. It isn’t necessary to have attended the first session of the Marriage Journey, to attend Session II, because each class stands alone. Dr. Mitch will re-visit some of the most important points of the Marriage Journey, but the Marriage Map is new and expanded material.
