Mens Ministry

 

WFMC’s Mens Ministry provides an opportunity for men to connect with one another, challenge one another, and grow to be more fully-formed in Christ. This happens through quarterly breakfasts and accountability groups along with semi-annual retreats.

Men’s Bible Study
The Men’s Community Bible Study is studying the Book of Genesis on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm in the Chapel. For more info, contact Tom Black at 509.670.2401.

 

 

 

An IRON SHARPENS IRON equipping conference  is a first class one-day event specifically designed for men (age 13 and older). Each conference accomplishes this mission by providing two keynote motivational messages, eighteen equipping seminars, ministry exhibitors, and men’s ministry resources. There is something for every man.

Morning keynote speaker:

Bill Perkins is Presdent  and Founder of Million Mighty Men. He previously served as a senior pastor for over twenty years. Bill is the author of numerous books such as Six Battles Every Man Must Win, When Good Men are Tempted and his newest release – Six Rules Every Man Must Break. He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs including The O’Reilly Factor. Bill and his family live in West Linn, OR.

 

Afternoon keynote speaker:

Rod Handley is the Founder and President of Character That Counts, a ministry that was established in July 2000. Rod is also the co-founder of TGIW (Teaching Guys Infinite Wisdom), a ministry which began in Lee's Summit, MO in September 2001. Today, TGIW groups are meeting all over the world. Rod served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) until his departure in May 2000. Rod began working for FCA in 1986, initially serving in Seattle as the Assistant State Director for Washington. He moved to Kansas City in 1989 to work at the FCA National Headquarters.

   - Early Registration Group* (10+ men registering together) $39 per man
   - Early Registraiton* $48 per man
   - Student Registration (age 13-22 and full time student) $29 per man
   - US Miltary Registration (active duty) $29 per man
   - Standard Registration $59 per man

   - Optional Lunch $8 per man

* Early Registration means that the registration is received at least TEN days prior to the conference.
