Spiritual Formation

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:17

Spiritual Formation is seeking to grow through faith, truth, and allegiance encounters with Jesus Christ.

At WFMC we want to create the environment for your to be formed into the likeness of Christ through the teaching the Bible and trusting the Holy Spirit.

This will be accomplished through transformational worship, Bible Communities, Life Groups, and service in our city, valley, and the world.

Prayer and Scripture Guide

On the "Learn More" link below, we have provided a prayer and Scripture reading guide, From Passover to Pentecost, for you to begin on April 18 and continue through June 8.

This prayer guide will connect you to your spiritual foundations in the Old Testament and New Testament. You can read and pray individually or as a family. Parents will have a good resource for taking spiritual leadership in the home. Use this to begin a new faith practice or deepen an older one.

Jesus served the Last Supper on Passover, he was then crucified, buried, and resurrected. He appeared to the disciples for forty days and then ascended to heaven. Ten days later, the 50th day, the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on Pentecost. In the Old Testament, the people of God celebrated the feast of Passover in remembrance of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt. Then they celebrated the Feast of Weeks which was seven weeks, or 49 days. This is also known as the Feast of Harvest, and on the 50th day, Pentecost.

In this prayer guide you will begin to understand your ancient faith connections, what your covenant relationship with God means, and how to worship in your home. View it as 50 days toward transformation.
