Student Ministries

WFMC Student Ministries values a safe environment to connect with other Christian and not-yet Christian teens and their families. We encourage learning together through Biblical teaching on Sunday mornings and deepening our understanding of Christian character during midweek youth group, followed with small group time. Following the model of Jesus Christ, Student Ministries is first moved by compassion which then leads us into action.

ACTIVATE High School Ministries

Student Leadership Team (SLT)

Applications are available for a multitude of serving opportunities for high school students! We have places for students to serve on Worship Teams, Sound and Media Teams, Prayer Teams, Creative Arts, Barnabas, Missions Planning, Kids Ministries, and more! There is a place for every high school student to serve at WFMC, and we need you and your special gifts. Applications are now available at the FMT office, or can be downloaded.

ELEVATE & ACTIVATE Ministries

Adult Leadership Teams (ALT)

Do you have a passion for God and students and thier lives? We now have applications available if you have a desire to work with students. We are actively recruiting both leaders and coaches for the 2009-2010 year.

Leaders step up for the students making a commitment to mentor each member of your small group and taking extra time with those students assigned to your group. Coaches have a passion for helping student leaders make the most of their serving experience and are willing to communicate regularly with their team. Each of these adult leader opportunities are a unique role, with specific responsibilities, so a volunteer will serve as either a leader or coach, but not both.

Elevate, grades 6-8, meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30PM.

Activate, grades 9-12, meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30PM.
