We offer compassionate care to those in need through the following ministries and support groups:
Life During Grief
Have you (or know someone who has) experienced a significant loss and need some help as you navigate through the journey? The good news is that WFMC offers a Life During Grief workshop.
Benefits include: courage, permission, comfort, hope, learning from each other, support for the journey and encouragement. Many have attended multiple times, and each time they've found it very helpful.
Perhaps you can invite a friend (Would you go with me?) We meet in a very casual environment so we can have discussion and get to know one another, but no one is required to talk.
To find out more about the next class, please contact Linda Bondo: 509-662-1502 or email
If you have experienced divorce or a broken relationship, Divorce Recovery is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk along side you through one of life's most difficult experiences. The group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. It is led by compassionate people that understand what you are experiencing and have resources to help. You’ll gain access to valuable information to help with pain, healing, and restoration after loss.
The next 12-week class begins Sunday, February 14, 6-7:30 pm, in Room 103.
The cost is $50 and you don't have to pre-register, just come.

Kids today are profoundly impacted by high stress situations. Confident Kids is a powerful support group for kids and their caregivers. It is a Bible based support group ministry offering a life skills curriculum that helps families with children ages 5-12 years old dealing with the stresses of living in today’s world. Through games, crafts, skits, and small group discussions, children learn important skills while in a safe place to talk about their life experiences. In a concurrent group, parents learn to apply these same skills at home while in a safe place to share their stories as well. In both groups, participants grow as they discover they are not alone in their pain. Parents/caregivers are required to attend the Adult Support Group.

MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers)
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. Moms of children, infants through kindergarten, meet with other moms as well as mentor moms who have had some of the same experiences. As a group, moms have the opportunity to discuss concerns and ask questions all while knowing that their children are being cared for onsite by loving and caring childcare volunteers. MOPS is a great way to make new friends and connect with other moms.
MOPS meets September - May on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month from 9-11 AM in the Fireside Room. Registration is limited and is available on a first come first served basis. For more info or to register, email Jaime Garness or call 509-885-2435.
